Cocktails, crafting and comedy were had by all at the Hollywood premier of “Craft Ladies”.
The “Craft Ladies” web series premier was a hit! Tuesday, October 2nd lovers of comedy joined together at Busby’s East in Hollywood to celebrate the premier of “Craft Ladies”. Attendees were able to craft name tags and cocktails or could choose a Karen or Jane specialty cocktail.
Premier goers were treated to standup comedy from some great comedians, including a majority of female comics. Gillian Bellinger, Heather Horton, Jonny Loquasto, Michael Malone, Heather Turman and even Craft Lady (Karen) Tiffany Anne Price entertained the audience with their comedy!
The night concluded with a screening of episode one of “Craft Ladies” entitled “Toilet Paper Roll Owls”. The ladies took on crafting their owls with playful innuendo. The episode received huge laughs from the crowd; many said their favorite part was the option to make a black owl if you like ‘em big. After the screening, the ladies were rushed with praise and congratulations on the episode!
Big thanks to all the comedians who helped make the night hilarious!
“Craft Ladies” is a hilarious new web series premiering October 2nd at 7pm Pacific Time on CraftUpNiceThings.com and YouTube channel 2CraftLadies.
Join the Craft Ladies & comedians Heather Horton, Jonny Loquasto, Gillian Bellinger, Heather Turman, Michael Malone & Craft Lady: Tiffany Anne Price for the premier screening October 2nd at Busby’s East (5364 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA) starting at 7:30pm, featuring live comedy, signature cocktails and of course crafting! Live entertainment will start at 8pm, these talented comedians will perform stand up leading up to the screening of the first episode of “Craft Ladies”. Admission will be FREE and there will be signature cocktails to enjoy with Episode One of “Craft Ladies”!
Karen (Tiffany Anne Price) and Jane (Lauren De Long) are the “Craft Ladies” two best friends with a passion for crafting, but, unlike their motto “Craft Up Nice Things”, they never quite get it right. If “The Today Show”’s Hoda and Kathy Lee were to take on Martha Stewart’s craft projects they’d be the “Craft Ladies”! Karen and Jane have been best friends for years and though their lives have gone in different directions their love of crafting is their unbreakable bond!
Shot in Karen’s garage, the “Craft Ladies” stream their own crafting tutorial show online with the help of their “sketchy” neighbor Phil (Jon McPhalen). Being the lovely lushes they are, in each episode the Craft Ladies pick out a wine paring to go with that day’s craft. In the first episode, the ladies launch their craft show complete with glue guns, toilet paper roll owls and of course a wine paring for the craft! Though the crafts may not be perfect, the laughs sure are!
